Today was a bit busy with driving my taxi.  Weekends always are.  I did manage to work on Dragon Rip and got about 400 stitches done.  All & all, doing ok.

Snowy Friends p 15

I am still working on page 15.  I have branched out to page 17 to continue working with one color.  The vest is just about done & the scarf is coming out nicely.  Also going strong on working on his belly.

The Beautiful World of Aarti Khurana

Today I finally choose to forgive all the people who hurt me, back stabbed me, deceived me, broke my trust and made me cry. I choose to forgive you all so that I can finally get rid of all the pain and resentment that lives with me constantly because of all that I endured in the past. I choose to forgive you because I don’t want to linger on my past anymore and ruin the rest of my life. I want to be happy and peaceful.

Follow Your Dreams (complete & framed)

This was finished back in 2010, however finally had it framed & picked it up today.  I am thrilled!!!!!!

Danes in the Grove

Hi there :0)....the babies are doing well today.  Alexis is showing some bleeding.  She has had problems with bladder infections & we had done a surgery on her to fix this problem...guess it didn't work.  She has an appointment scheduled so going to throw that in also.  I think it's time we get this figured out.  Tired of it :0(....otherwise no big news.

Dragon Rip p 11

Dragon Rip p 11.  There is just a bit of dark brown coming down this page.  There is more colors to be added.  Tomorrow I will start working on Snowy Friends.

Switching back & forth does break up the boredom of just one project.  Since HAED designs are so huge I am happy to say I have more than one.  When I have completed the next page for this design I will get the next project ready.  And at the end of the sixth page I am going to put that into the rotation.  I would like to add a new project every 6 pages of Dragon Rip.  At that rate I will have 8 WIP going on.  If I feel that it would be too much of course I will just work on what I am comfortable with.

Snowy Friends p 15

Here he is.  Worked on for a while today.  Was able to start working on his scarf & most of his vest is done.  Starting to come together.  He is an enjoyable project.

I will be working on Dragon Rip for the next 2 days.  Easy stitching for the weekend.

Danes in the Grove

On a more personal note, I named this blog in honor of my dogs.  Jeff & I have 5 great danes.  We breed & have rescued dogs & even cats.  We started their facebook page almost 2 years ago (Danes in the Grove), just so I could share pictures & stories without bothering any of my friends & family on facebook.  Who wants to hear about our dogs 24 hours a day???  So there I started.  With them living in GA and me working in MS I don't get to see them much & miss them so much.  Hopefully some good news will change all that and I can't wait for the next couple of months to go by.  Anyway Alexis & Jasper might be having a litter.  If Alexis is pregnant the babies will be born on 11/20/13.  I am sooo excited.  Love you my babies.

Snowy Friends p 15

Today was a little busy for me.  I work in Biloxi MS driving a taxi.  Had quite a few good runs so didn't really have all that much time to cross stitch.  I did get a little done and have started to really get into his vest (Snowy Friends).  Also country cross stitched onto page 16.  Going to see if really doing as much as I can with one color will help me finish a row of pages faster.  My goal is too have him finished by 12/25/14.

Hi my name is Lisa and I have been cross stitching for about 20 years.  I absolutely love doing it and I do consider it my drug.  I am currently working on 2 Heaven & Earth projects.  HAED.  These are HUGE!!!!!  I switch back & forth between the two as I finish a page.  Currently working on Snowy Friends, page 15.  It doesn't have too much confetti but it does have many color changes.

This is Dragon Rip by Anne Stokes.  It has quite a bit of black background which makes for a quick day of stitching.  I have completed 3 out of the 48 pages for this pattern.  There is a bit of color finally showing.

Snowy Friends by Dona Gelsinger.  I have completed 14 pages out of 28.  1/2 way mark so thrilled!!!!!
