SO MUCH BLACK!!!!! Having to really work on 6 pages at one time. Breaks up the boredom of just stitching black. Finished the equivalent of 1 page. Started this cycle 6/28/15 & finished the 80+ blocks 7/8/15. Total of 10 stitching days.

Dragon Rip - cross stitch
It has taken me 8 weeks just to pick this up again. 13 puppies take quite a bit of your time and since I don't "hide" them away & am very hands on, stitching comes 2nd. I picked this up yet again & finished not only 2 more pages, but another row is completed. 3 more rows but that is ok :0)

Periwinkle - cross stitch
First time I have worked on this one this year. But did get page 4 of 42 completed. A total of 6 stitching days. LOVE HER!!!!! So easy to stitch, virtually no confetti. How fast this one will go when she is my main project :0)...I do have 2 litters of pups being born in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully will get some stitching time this go around.

Dragon Rip - cross stitch
Currently working on pages 25, 26, 27 & 28. At the 1/2 mark with these 4 pages. Started them 3/9/15, total of 18 stitching days so far. Longstreet our newest puppy did get a hold of it at the end of last week. So I went ahead & jumped to page 29 to fix the damage. I am thankful that I can't even tell where the repairs are. He is also a very lucky puppy. After working off & on with this one for about 1 1/2 years it would have been a terrible shame to have had to chuck this.

Dragon Rip - cross stitch
With all the black background I had to work on 4 pages at the same time. So currently working on pages 25, 26, 27 & 28. Just finished what would equal to 1 page. Took 8 days to do this. SOOOOO want this one to be over. I don't feel that my stitches are up to my normal standard. It's not the pattern, it's the fabric, ugh!!!!!

Bonnie - special needs puppy
With the journal that is kept on a daily basis we can see if she is improving or getting worse. At this point, even without the journal tells us that she is having some new problems. She is scheduled to see the vet for her last set of vaccines at the end of next week, and maybe to do blood work on her for the prescription. Currently there are times that when she falls she can't get back up. Sometimes she even whines. I just bring her butt up, right her, and hopefully she can get a move on under her own steam. Even this morning, she was in pain that she couldn't make it to the "normal" potty area. She found herself the nearest patch of grass & did her business. At this time, we are still hoping for the best, but we are also planning on the worst :0(
Elf in Wood - cross stitch
Three days of work on this. Coming along very nicely. My goal was to have page 10 finished by 3/7/15, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen. No biggie. I enjoy working on it so it makes it easy for me to work on it really just about any day.

Bonnie - special needs puppy
Yesterday 3/4/15 was the first day of her meds (phenobartial). No changes of course, will take at least 2 weeks to see anything. She did have 27 documented falls. I am only counting what I visually see. If I hear her or if it could have been a slip I don't count these. Keeping a journal will definitely allow me the ability to see any changes, problems or what nots.

Bonnie - special needs puppy
Bonnie was born on 12/14/14 to Alexis & Jasper, 2 of our great danes. Up until the time she was 8 weeks old all seemed to be normal. Unfortunately a couple of days after leaving our care her new family noticed there was just something a bit odd about her. She kept falling down. After spending about 10 days with them, she was brought back to us. We took her to the vet and a few days later she was diagnosed with atonic seizures brought on by lack of oxygen at birth. She will start with her medication today to help her with these collapses. We are praying that this helps her.
She is almost 11 weeks old & is an absolutely beautiful puppy and 100% a little spitfire. Other than these "falls" she is normal. Her coloring is unusual for a great dane and that makes her even more special.

Elf in Wood - cross stitch
Working on page 10 now. This is the work I have so far completed for 3/1/15 & 3/2/15. Stitching up very well. Did have to frag 5 stitches, lol but who is counting. I didn't like the very dark shadow in her lips. Even though the color I had used was correct, it didn't look right.

Elf in Wood (page 9 completed) - cross stitch
Love when a page is finished. And have a very nice head start on page 10. Still will take at least a week to do, but with such a lovely design it will just make me smile to do it. Started the page 2/19/15 & finished it 2/28/15, 8 total stitching days.

Elf in Wood - cross stitch
I honestly feel that I should just have waited until I finished the page. Just a few more blocks to finish off & page 9 will be complete. She has a mouth!!!!! So pretty this little lady :0)

Elf in Wood - cross stitch
Wow, another 12 blocks completed. And with it being by birthday, major cleaning on the house, 6 adults danes & 2 puppies AND hubby out of town for business....impressive. She is absolutely gorgeous. Love that one eye is complete & not just a bunch of blobs in a background.

Elf in Wood - cross stitch
Wow got quite a bit done in the last couple of days. With hubby out of town, more free time for me :0). I was able to complete 12 blocks yesterday & 7 blocks today. With taking one of the litter pups to the vet this morning (just vaccines), didn't get as much done as I could of, but still happy with what I had accomplished. Here is yesterday's & today's work.

Elf in Wood - cross stitch
I don't know why that I just want to change it up just a bit. Normally I just like to see my work done by pages. Well I ended up grabbing my camera to see daily updates of this one. Don't know if this will be a waste of time, but why not, just takes a few seconds. 1st picture is the start of the day on 2/19/15 & the 2nd picture is the start of the day 2/20/15. I had taken a wide view on 2/19/15, wish I had just done a closeup. But will continue on that course from today on...until it's a page finish (just like previously done).

Dragon Rip - cross stitch
Wow so great to get back into this. After this last left I couldn't wait to pick up the cross stitch & get busy. I started pages 23 & 24 on 1/26/15 & completed them 2/16/15. But was only able to cross stitch 12 of those days. Also another hurdle, 1/2 done...woohoo!!!!
