Dragon Rip - cross stitch

With all the black background I had to work on 4 pages at the same time.  So currently working on pages 25, 26, 27 & 28.  Just finished what would equal to 1 page.  Took 8 days to do this.  SOOOOO want this one to be over.  I don't feel that my stitches are up to my normal standard.  It's not the pattern, it's the fabric, ugh!!!!!

Elf in Wood (page 10 completed) - cross stitch

Page 10 is now completed.  Started the page 3/1/15 & finished it 3/8/15.  8 total stitching days.  I know I have said it a million times, but I just love this one.  I don't want to put it down but off now to the next WIP...sigh, lol

Bonnie - special needs puppy

With the journal that is kept on a daily basis we can see if she is improving or getting worse.  At this point, even without the journal tells us that she is having some new problems.  She is scheduled to see the vet for her last set of vaccines at the end of next week, and maybe to do blood work on her for the prescription.  Currently there are times that when she falls she can't get back up.  Sometimes she even whines.  I just bring her butt up, right her, and hopefully she can get a move on under her own steam.  Even this morning, she was in pain that she couldn't make it to the "normal" potty area.  She found herself the nearest patch of grass & did her business.  At this time, we are still hoping for the best, but we are also planning on the worst :0(

Elf in Wood - cross stitch

Three days of work on this.  Coming along very nicely.  My goal was to have page 10 finished by 3/7/15, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen.  No biggie.  I enjoy working on it so it makes it easy for me to work on it really just about any day.

Bonnie - special needs puppy

Yesterday 3/4/15 was the first day of her meds (phenobartial).   No changes of course, will take at least 2 weeks to see anything.  She did have 27 documented falls.  I am only counting what I visually see.  If I hear her or if it could have been a slip I don't count these.   Keeping a journal will definitely allow me the ability to see any changes, problems or what nots.

Bonnie - special needs puppy

Bonnie was born on 12/14/14 to Alexis & Jasper, 2 of our great danes.  Up until the time she was 8 weeks old all seemed to be normal.  Unfortunately a couple of days after leaving our care her new family noticed there was just something a bit odd about her.  She kept falling down.  After spending about 10 days with them, she was brought back to us.  We took her to the vet and a few days later she was diagnosed with atonic seizures brought on by lack of oxygen at birth.  She will start with her medication today to help her with these collapses.  We are praying that this helps her.

She is almost 11 weeks old & is an absolutely beautiful puppy and 100% a little spitfire.  Other than these "falls" she is normal.  Her coloring is unusual for a great dane and that makes her even more special.

Working on page 10 now.  This is the work I have so far completed for 3/1/15 & 3/2/15.  Stitching up very well.  Did have to frag 5 stitches, lol but who is counting.  I didn't like the very dark shadow in her lips.  Even though the color I had used was correct, it didn't look right.
