Snowy Friends - next WIP

Back to working on him & his little birdie friends tomorrow.  I would love to finish the next 2 pages by next Tuesday but there is no possible way.  I need to sleep sometime through the day/night.  I am getting excited that there are just 14 more pages.  My goal with him is still 12/25/14.  I think that goal is very attainable.  LOL well I can only hope :0)

Dragon Rip pp 1-4, top 2 rows of blocks (20 rows)

Ok the voices won :0)....I finished the top 2 rows of blocks for pages 1-4.  Also worked a little on page 4 with just a little more color & also page 10.  I changed the way that I was stitching this.  I didn't like the way the blocky look was appearing as I was finishing a page.  So instead I am working straight across with the black color.  I am proud of myself that even though I was tired I did listen to those crazy voices & finished my quota.

Dragon Rip

Well didn't get the "quota" done for the day.  Still have one more row to do.  I know for sure this will be finished tomorrow.  Being a tiring day today.  Seems no matter where I turn I am hitting my brick wall.  That is what I call when my body just doesn't want to move anymore.  And this is one of those days.  You  never know I might get the urge up and pull it out of it's bag.  In fact as I am typing this, he is screaming out my name to come and do him.  Sigh....so many voices in my head, how is there any room?

Dragon Rip

Steadily working on this guy.  Trying a different way of stitching him.  I wasn't liking the look of the break of pages.  So instead a page at a time I just stitched all the way to the left from page 4 to page 1.  Then to hide the page break from page 4 to page 5 I have been stitches 2 rows down.  Also been throwing a little color into the mix.  Only of course if it is charted that way.  There won't be much to show since of course the background is all black.  I am hoping to have this goal finished tomorrow & will post newest picture when that goal has been met.  Again I state hopefully tomorrow.  I am already 5 days behind in what I wanted to have accomplished.

Danes in the Grove

A very busy day of napping ahead of these babies.  Gee I wish I was a dog.  Sleep, eat, sleep, play...and more sleeping.  Sigh me so jealous :0)

Elf in Wood

I am slowly working on this one.  I try and do an hour or two an evening on this but to be honest, I am usually too tired.  This is 1/2 done, 1st row of blocks.  I can't even tell you how many stitches.  The frame that I purchased for this project is killing me.  It's too tall and the work space too wide from where I sit.  I guess you get what you paid for.  Hoping to save up for a Needle Works frame & stand.  Seems to be one of the best and easiest to work with.  But at a cost of about $300, will take me a while to get this item.  Christmas is coming :0)....maybe someone will be good to me.  At least one can only hope.

Going Home

In 10 more days I will finally be going home.  It has been almost 4 1/2 months since I have seen Jeff & of course my babies.  I miss them "little" guys & gals so much.  Will then of course get ready for Alexis to have her pups.  She is due on 11/20 and things will be smooth sailing.  I do worry that with her being a new mom that there could be problems.  She is such a sweet tempered dog, but since this is her 1st the worries will always be there.  Couple weeks after that if Blossom is pregnant then that will be the time that everything will stir up.  With about 10-20 puppies at one time the house is going to be in total chaos.  I LOVE it :0).
